well, translated it means 'beach of time', meaning a space of time that is carved out for oneself to repair or replenish. a definite need for everyone, but most especially for us busy moms. such a great french phrase....meaning that in life we need balance....and take that time for your joys and needs.
We had a similar bronze pig statue that you can put coins in at the Reading Terminal Market in downtown Philly, except it was looking slightly upward and you could put the coins into it's mouth and hear them slide down into the belly. The boys were always slightly nervous about getting their fingers too close.
