Tainui Soccer

Well, this weekend we went down to Portland for a soccer tournament. They boys did well, even bringing home the gold...or first place...or whatever they were calling it. :) It was quite exciting, especially when Teina got stung twice by a hornet or a wasp or a yellowjacket or whatever the heck it was during an already very intense game.

Look! Up in the sky its a bird, no its a plane, no its just a soccerball hahaha jk. Good job finally breaking the losing streak! Or just losing some of your last games finally the $$ is paying off. We're excited to hang out with you guys in a week or so. Also, Teina I feel your pain, really I do. I got stung by a yellow jacket while walking up to campus on the south hill. He proceeded to dig his stinger in deeper and deeper and I was running around like a lunatic. At least everyone walking by me probably thought that I was crazy. The worst part is that they can sting and not die! Lame

For the record, I agree that it is lame that wasps can sting and not die. I mean, where's the commitment when you can just sting whatever with no repercussions?! Ask a honeybee if stinging is no big deal!

Also, good job T. How many goals did you score?

Good job Tainui. I think sometimes games are more stressful/intense for the parents watching than the kids playing! I also agree about the yellow jacket life span being lame. If you sting, you should die.
