well, translated it means 'beach of time', meaning a space of time that is carved out for oneself to repair or replenish. a definite need for everyone, but most especially for us busy moms. such a great french phrase....meaning that in life we need balance....and take that time for your joys and needs.
At the reptile zoo, Tainui was digging his newest fashion accessory--live ball python. The kids still ask if they can get a snake. Maybe if they are lucky, we can get another beta fish.

Well, I think I will pass on this accessory. :) Brave Boy!
Hey maybe if you did get a snake it would teach them to take care of animals, responsibilty, etc. etc. Didn't the boys have a bearded lizard and other reptiles in the Bellvue house? My friend James has a ball python and its tiny still, but did you know they can grow up to 6 feet or more? Crazy
I'm not going to show this to Caitlin. She is still crazy thinking that she wants a snake. Whatever! Like I'M going to go get cute little baby mice every few weeks and let them die a horrible and stressful death being eaten alive....she's definately fighting a losing battle.
Tainui, you are VERY brave. I got squirmy just looking at that snake. Wow! Kris and Carol, I'm with you. I watched Rosie eat a mouse once. I think fish are the way to go.
