New Beginning

Ah, yes...trying to be artistic with the fence in this picture. Tainui just started baseball season. I must say, as hard as it is to start a new season with practices and games ALL the time...baseball is REALLY fun. spring, warmth, the outdoors and our incredible long days here and a bunch of 11 year old boys playing their hearts out. james, you need a boy. :)

Well at least for now I can live vicariously through you guys. As Dad would say...I'm workin' on it!

T.K. is looking good in uniform. We'll have to have a family softball game at Timpanogos Park that I think Jon is already trying to organize. I predict I will hit 3 home runs.

that would be great! and how many of us (yes, i'm actually trying to include myself and maybe t and vw too) are going to run the 5k together...and when i say together, i mean that we would all be entered into the same race on the same day. :) can't wait to see all the buddies!

Hey and he's even a Mariner! How did you swing that? No pun intended. Too bad its not the Angels. I love this time of the year too, its warming up here and yesterday we had a summer thunderstorm!

Well, I think that at the latest count we have me, Liz, Dad, Jon, Ashley, Holly, Dave, You, VW, T-man, Carol and Gene who have either expressed interest or had their spouse say "I'm going to convince him/her." We haven't yet heard from James/Nat and Heather/Graigg. It will be fun to all run it together--as long as we solve the child care issue. If Jon's training at all, it should only be about 20 minutes of babysitting needed, right Jon? ;)

I think that all those who run in it should make a pact to wait for each other at the finish line (before crossing) and we can all join hands and cross the finish line together. Now THAT'S a family reunion.

that is a great idea but i'm afraid you'd probably be waiting all day for me.

Now here's one great serious ball player. Love the stance. BTW...Grandma will most likely be available to help with the kiddos in the cheering section!

Hmmm maybe a couple more minutes there Joe but yeah I'll help the kids once I beat everyone haha jk So yeah sorry Holly I probably won't wait for you. :)

T is looking so old...and cute, you will have to fight the girls off and I hear they are pretty forward these days. I love your idea Holly, but I also think everyone will have to wait a looong time for me. I currenty hold the awesome time of 45 minutes for 3 miles so Jon would be home and showered before I would even be done:/ We do need to check on the mascot though to make sure they don't have something to scare the kids out of their wits and make the childcare issue harder for whoever is watching them....
