well, translated it means 'beach of time', meaning a space of time that is carved out for oneself to repair or replenish. a definite need for everyone, but most especially for us busy moms. such a great french phrase....meaning that in life we need balance....and take that time for your joys and needs.
I love the shapes/curves on this totem pole located right by the market downtown seattle. So much history and workmanship. Again, what a great place to live and learn.

Very nice curves. Not only with the natural grain of the wood but with what was carved into it as well. :-)
Ohhh! Once I clicked on the image and saw the full picture I could really see the grain of the wood as well as the carvings up close. Very cool!
