well, translated it means 'beach of time', meaning a space of time that is carved out for oneself to repair or replenish. a definite need for everyone, but most especially for us busy moms. such a great french phrase....meaning that in life we need balance....and take that time for your joys and needs.
The brand new fern is such a beautiful sight. I don't know if I would appreciate it as much if it wasn't such a loved image in New Zealand. It took me a few tries to get this closeup right though.
Speaking of ferns, did you all know that the Louis Vuitton cup started Monday? Team New Zealand is one of the main contenders to win the LV Cup, which determines who gets to sail against the Alinghi syndicate for the America's Cup later this year. As fond as I am for the Kiwis, I am still rooting for the Cup to go back where it belongs--the USA! And if BMWOracle can win it, they intend to defend the cup inside the SF Bay--the first time the Cup will be contested somewhere were you could watch from the land. Cool!
That's cool, and reminds me while I was walking to my VB class today I saw a Ngapuhi sticker on the back of a car parked at the practice facility. Maybe it was a rugby player...
Very cool picture. I am SO enjoying spring here. The Rocky Mountains are still in my blood! Joe, I'm still trying to figure out what ferns have to do with the Louis Vuitton cup? Oh, wait...it's the New Zealand connection. Okay....duh ;)
